Plantation International瞄准中国市场，启动首个有机猫山王种植园

跨国种植和农场管理公司Plantations International宣布，其马来西亚分公司United Tropical Fruit将启动首个商业级有机猫山王榴莲种植园。该种植园位于马来西亚彭亨州，占地面积40公顷，租赁期60年。

据悉，Plantations International公司旗下拥有榴莲品牌Durian Harvests，专门从事榴莲种植、营销和销售业务。该品牌推出了各种猫山王榴莲制成的食品，主要客户瞄准了中国、香港和新加坡消费者。

Plantations International公司亚洲业务总监Gareth Cookson表示，公司投入了大量时间、资金用以研究、开发真正有机的猫山王榴莲。他们将繁育100%有机的猫山王种子，让有机监管链延伸到树苗栽培之前。

分公司United Tropical Fruit董事总经理Raymond Samy介绍说，“公司业务纯粹以出口为重点，而中国是其主要出口目的地。在中国市场，非有机猫山王榴莲零售价非常高。我们手工培育的有机猫山王能在中国卖到多少钱，尚不得而知。但是如果通过其他水果来看，有机芒果相对于非有机芒果可以轻松实现50%以上的溢价。”
